Seal the Deal

back to business after a long memorial weekend. With all the parts sandblasted and cleaned it was time to seal the bug

The day flew by, and boy are its arms tired



Today we really got down to the bare bare bones, pulled out the entire dashboard and steering column along with all the wiring


Getting the motor out and then we'll be entirely ready to remove the body from the pan. Hope to have this picked up and taken to the sandblasters tomorrow!

Buggin' On


today we ripped out the entire interior


you never know what u find when you start tearing down to the barebones, as u can see there's alot rust along the floorboards. And look we found when we took the battery out......

the hole on the lest is where the glove box used to be

1972 Volkswagon Bug Restoration Project

Monday


this 72 bug came into the shop. This car was the clients fathers and has been in their family since it came off assembly. She wants a full restore from the ground up along with a full custom paint job back to the original robin eggshell blue.
Tuesday


we started the dismantle by taking off the doors,hood, back lid and driver side fender. We also ripped out the interior
Wednesday


we finished the taking off the passenger side fenders and took all 11 pieces to the sandblaster to get blasted.
